De Recioto heeft een dieprode ruby kleur. De geur is verleidelijk met tonen van viooltjes, rijpe vlezige kersen, pruimen en rozijnen. Ook zijn er tonen van karamel en tabak. De Recioto is vol, rond, fruitig met een prachtige balans. De afdronk is erg lang met een mooie frisheid.
